“Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.” – Steve Jobs
1. Be sure that the wholesaler meets your customer’s criteria. If your customer has a specification that a sign must meet, a wholesale sales representative should be able to let you know if their company is capable of fabricating that structure.
2. Look at the total cost on the quote you have been provided. If the cost quoted seems low, be sure that includes the quality you want, delivery, and any additional services. You don’t want to choose the lowest price only to find hidden charges down the road.
3. Visit the website and do research on all media avenues. Make yourself familiar with the company; feel comfortable before you commit.
4. Keep open lines of communication and develop a relationship with your supplier. A positive relationship can be a simple way to avoid problems or unpleasant surprises later on.
